Le prime maschere prendono forma
Conclusosi il primo giorno di attività di “Our Mask”, training internazionale che coinvolge, dal 9 al 23 luglio, 24 giovani lavoratori/trici/t* e artisti/e/* provenienti da Bulgaria, Francia, Germania, Polonia, Portogallo, Turchia e, fuori programma, Italia
L’attore Luigi Pignatelli, presidente della Hermes Academy Onlus e Arcigay Strambopoli Taranto, è stato invitato a partecipare in virtù del suo curriculum, malgrado l’Italia non fosse tra i Paesi partner del progetto.
Ad Homade, a Brivezac in Francia, i/le/* protagonisti del progetto internazionale scambiano buone pratiche, facilitano workshop, esplorano il valore e il ruolo delle maschere, nel teatro quanto nella vita quotidiana, come agenti potenti nel processo educativo della gioventù.
“Our Mask” mira a sviluppare strumenti educativi usando maschera, narrazione, teatro fisico e circo sociale come metodologia per fornire uno spazio sicuro e opportunità di espressione per i/le/* giovani, in particolare giovani a rischio, per favorire la comprensione reciproca, l’inclusione, l’integrazione, la partecipazione attiva e la costruzione della comunità.
The first masks take shape
It comes to an end the first day of “Our Mask” activity, an international training involving, from July 9th to 23rd, 24 young workers and artists from Bulgaria, France, Germany, Poland, Portugal, Turkey and, out of program, Italy.
The actor Luigi Pignatelli, president of the Hermes Academy Onlus and Arcigay Strambopoli Taranto, was invited to participate by virtue of his curriculum, although Italy was not among the partner countries of the project.
At Homade, in Brivezac, France, the protagonists of the international project exchange good practices, facilitate workshops, explore the value and role of masks, in theater as much as in everyday life, as powerful agents in the educational process of youth.
“Our Mask” aims to develop educational tools using mask, storytelling, physical theater and social circus as a methodology to provide a safe space and opportunities for expression for young people, particularly young people at risk, to promote mutual understanding, inclusion, integration, active participation and community building.
